bozoNZ (393), Christchurch, New Zealand Jan 30, 2007 330ml bottle from Blenheim New World. Nice copper colour faint head but does linger. Aroma quite malty. Nice toffee / butterscotch. Good body, sweetness thru the middle and a real maltbiscuit flick at the finish. Well crafted beer. beerledgend (853), Meadowbank Auckland, New Zealand Jan 23, 2006 Updated: Sep 18, 2006Amber in colour with big white creamy head. Typical English bitter style, mild hop bitternes.
(Perhaps too may Belgian beers this week and change of palate brought marks down)

Dark amber in colour, small white head. malty hop aroma, estery/apple like flavour. JoeMcPhee (4061), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Aug 2, 2005 Copper coloured beer with a thick creamy white head. Aroma is quite malty, caramel, toffee, and a touch of vanilla. Light spicy hops. Flavour is semi-sweet, with vanilla, toffee, and a creamy toasted malt character. Light apricot fruitiness as well. IPFreely (1470), Niagara Falls, New York, USA Jul 19, 2005 Copper color, slight haze, cream colored head. Fruity malt and hops go well together, orangy along with some bready flavors. Medium bodied. Pretty nice. DYCSoccer17 (2054), Davis, California, USA Jul 5, 2005 Thanks to Sammy for this rare beer. Sampled with Tim and Rudy. Vinous, alcoholic, fruity aroma. Kind of smells like fermented cow corn ethanols. Moderately hazy copper color with a whitish head. Very tea-like flavor to start, turning sweeter and caramelly.
