A pretty average wheat beer. This was a little bit more grassy and citric than most hefes I’ve tried, and a little less flavorful overall. Still works as a good summer thirst-quencher though.

Pinkus hefe-weizen Very cloudy yellow colour. Stable, creamy white head. Sweet/malty aroma, no banana. I cannot seem to trace any yeast flavour, but the wheat is in both flavour and mouthfeel. Could be more interesting though.

(bottle) Hazy yellow colour with a big foamy white head. Yeasty and peppery aroma complemented with a touch of grape fruits. Malty and yeasty taste with apricot-fruity finish. An unorthodox German Hefeweizen that is worth a try.

Pours light golden and slightly cloudy with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma is spicy and mouth-watering with notes of clove, coriander, and citrus. Taste is sweet and yeasty with notes of citrus, wheat, honey. The finish is crisp from the wheat, while also moderately acidic.

A rather thin flavored wheat beer, although it’s appearance is deceiving (with a nice hazy golden color). Watery palate. Overall, uninteresting and unimpressive.

Bottle. Lemon peel and wheat aroma. Golden yellow color- cloudy with little head. Sour milk, wet paper, and wheat flavor - no hint of the typical banana and clove flavor. Litlle resemblance to the stereotypical German Weizen.

Bottle. Hazed gold with a tall fluffy white head. Nose is light wheat and citrus with Euro hoppiness and minimal bubblegum. Taste is wheat, yeast, light hops, dried banana, sweet malts and stale bubblegum. Body is light and very bubbly and a seemingly overcarbonated feel to it. Finish is a let down. Much the same as the general taste but there’s a larger cardboard or papery note about it. Light fruits, yeast and wheat with thinned Euro hops. Drinkable hefe.
