Very cloudy yellow color with a lasting white head. Aroma consists mostly of malt and yeast with a little citrus. Flavor is light wheat with a tiny bit of citrus. It has a light body. Not an impressive Hefe- weizen. But kinda refreshing on a hot summer day.

Draught at Pinkus Brauerei. Served in Pinkus Weizen glass. Unclear, applesauce-color. Fresh wheat-aroma. The flavor is wheaty and fresh. Good drinkability. Pleasant, soft mouthfeel.

Pale hazy yellow with a large frothy head. Lots of bubbles in the body. Aroma is grainy with light wheat and some citurs. Flavour is light wheat, malt and grain with hardly any texture. A little too thin.

Pale yellow hazy body with medium carbonation and a thick foamy head. Boring bready/grainy aroma with some citrusy hints. Taste is quite thin. It is watery with timid flavors of yeast, hops and citrus. Finish is short and discreet. It is very refreshing, but there are many better thirst quenchers... (Bottle, Winooski Beverage Warehouse - Mar 2005)

Strong citrus-yogurt lactic aroma. Hazy yellow straw coloured body is topped by huge, pillowy, white head that diminishes to thin cover. Very lactic flavour with citrus, berries and some buttery diacetyl. Very oily texture and soft carbonation. Unpleasant. Bottle (Winooski Beverage Warehouse - Nov. 2004).

Pours fizzy yellow with a small head. Aroma is a tiny bit of citrus and not much else. Flavor is weak with hints of clove and other hefe characteristics trying to sneak through. Bland.

I am really surprised that this beer has only 5% alcohol as it has a strong alcohol taste. Also this one is hopped rather strongly. Even with 60% wheat malt used this one does not have much of a wheat beer taste. Still this one has full body and will not come off as weak or watered down.

Bottle. Cloudy straw colour with lovely firm head. Lightly malty, cloves, youghurt, hints of citrus and metal, highly carbonated. Light to medium body.
