This hefe weizen pours a slightly cloudy yellow gold color from a 500ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head with nice retention and good lacing. The aroma is some malt, but mostly banana and bubblegum. A light bodied hefe-weizen. The malts are cereal, fruity and sweet. Some banana and clove flavors but not over powering. There is more cereal and grain in this one. There is some of that classic banana and clove flavor and yeastiness to this one, but not as much as in the aroma. Lively carbonation. It is also a touch watery. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. BillyMidnight (41), Alberta, Canada

Makes me wonder if I could feasibly have set up shop at the age of 8, made a fortune selling this to the other kids and played dumb when the authorities caught up with me. Now I’ll never know. Pity, that.
