| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 12, 2009 A beautiful rich caramel malt color that showcases a frothy, german head, pouring at 2 inches and holding at 1/4". Smooth caramel malt aroma. The taste starts off with a small hop bitterness that is quilckly overwhelmed by chocolate and caramel malts. The finish tastes like molasses sweetened by sugar. dkachur (2416), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 15, 2009 Pours a clear medium orange/brown with a substantial slightly off-white head; coats the glass and sticks around. Almost no aroma - - maybe a little maple syrup and spice. Sweet maple and molassas toasted malt flavor, yet crisp clean and a little hoppy like you’d expect from a thirstquenching lager. Nothing fancy, but this is quite good.
