Head is initially average sized, frothy/fizzy, light brown, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear medium brown.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain/bread, nuts, caramel), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a light note of DMS.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation.
Meh. Not a lot of character and a little unclean. Watery and kinda fizzy. Passable at best. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 13, 2009 Bottle, Stubbies & Steins. Hazy copper with thick bone-colored head. Diacetyl mars the aroma, which is also yeasty and sour but has some bready notes too. Weird sourness and a slick mouthfeel signal that this bottle may be off. I can tell there is a good brew under here but the sourness is killing it, it’s a shame. fonefan (11888), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 4, 2009 500 ml bottle in half mas. Brown with lasting head and lace. Very caramel and bread. Toasted caramel flavor with lager grassiness and a tiny bit of wateriness. Medium-light body and carbo. For a Vienna, I think this is quite good. Overall, if you like carmel-tasting dark lagers, this is a good one. I’m enjoying it. nick76 (2688), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 10, 2009 The aroma is sweet and somewhat sour with grain, hay, grass, and herbs. The appearance is deep amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma with a cereal finish. The palate is thin but OK. Overall its a quality beer but I am just not into it. It reminds me of an Oktoberfest beer. KimJohansen (7146), Copenhagen V, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 15, 2008 Pours a a medium brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is nutty roasted malt and weak coffee.
Flavour was much lighter than the aroma and the body seemed thin.
Repeating the nutty tones and thin roast malt/coffee. Some toffee sweetness. Flat finish.
A bit dissapointing.
