| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 3, 2003 Amber. Sticky, beige foam. Barely any carbonation. Musty fruit aroma burying toasty malts and hay. Damply crisp, musty and moderately toasty with a touch of bitterness and a nutty, fruit skin aftertaste. Fuzzy natured. Medium body. Scraps of metal linger. Dryish. Flavor turns dankly, dryly fruity with a cottony feel. Wet cardboard as well. Finishes with a slight puckering fruitiness. What is this supposed to be? Besides not very good.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Nothing particularly special about this beer. Not familiar with this style of beer so not much to compare it to. The flavor doesn’t stick around long. Some sweetness and very light hops. Highly carbonated. Easily forgettable. hopscotch (5495), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 9, 2009 Bottle … Clear copper ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Great retention. The aroma is a malty, dark fruit blend of fig, date, honey, light prune and medium-roast mash. Medium to full-bodied with lively carbonation. The malty, minerally flavor is balanced nicely, but boring. I’m picking up a little black tea. Bittersweet, tea-like, dry finish. beerguy101 (3946), Newark, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Sampled on 12/06/2009. This Vienna pours a deep brown color from a 50cl bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel malts, dark fruit, and sweet. A medium to light bodied Vienna. The malts are caramel, bready and sweet. The hops are earthy. Nice flavors, but its kind of thin tasting. There are some roasty malts that lingers at the finish. Nice carbonation. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with some roasty malts and a touch of tartness. jbye4334 (710), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Light to medium body with average carbonation. humulushound (133), British Columbia, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 25, 2009 Dark Chestnut color with a tan head. Aroma of deep-roasted malt, nut skins, dark fruits and light vanilla. Tasty and mild; raisin, hazelnuts, hints of smoke with a medium mouthfeel and sweet roasty finish. Overall an excellent showing without too much character to scare off your un-initiated mates. willblake (2179), Belcamp, Maryland, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 23, 2009 20091123 500ml bottle from Wine World in Abingdon. Mostly clear caramel color and small, sudsy, last beige head. Aroma of cooking pasta, caramel, wet paper or cardboard. Medium to light bodied with no bitterness but a somewhat cloying sweet and sour character. Considerable apple cider acidity lingers. Some late floral notes, lavender. Not bad, but pretty boring, even for a Vienna. TizzleJizzle (64), Garland, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Aroma of malty goodness. Poured a translucent brown color with excellent head retention. Initial taste of malt and barley, followed with a watered down bitter finish. Boring palate. Overall this is a surprisingly good dark lager. It’s nothing amazing, but good none the less.
