Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy yellow golden with a small frothy white head leaving decent spotty lacing. The aroma is sweet bready malt with banana and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet grain malt. Easy to drink a good blond from Pinkus.

Bottle courtesy of Fratto. Hazy banana yellow color. Smells earthy and tart. Dry play-doh scent. Smooth bland taste. Has small amounts of flavor of dough and light grain. Not much taste past that.

Serving: 500 ml bottle. Appearance: Hazy gold with a sizeable pillowy, white head. Decent head retention. Aroma: Biscuit, dough, and lemon notes. Almost reminds me of a wit. Taste: Fruity and light, light grain notes, a little dough, some lemon, and yeast notes. Okay but lacking any definitive character. Palate: Medium-high carbonation with a light mouthfeel and a short finish. Overall: I too fell into the trap of thinking this was an Alt. Seeing the classification, it makes a lot more sense. Overall, it was pretty average and you certainly won’t miss anything if you skip this one.

Bottle into a mug. I should have read the reviews before I bought it. I had been looking for an Alt and thought I found one after reading the lable. My mistake so I’ll rate it as is -not as I hoped it would be. Pale golden color, slightly skunky smell is very faint lemon and grass but not in a good way. Slightly tangy and good for one sip and then it’s not so good and kind of cloying on the next. I cant make up my mind on this one.

Bottled. Poured hazy, milkier golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet bready notes with grass and lemon accents.. soft, fresh, and pleasant. The flavor had honey, bread, and wet grainy sweetness at the core.. lemon zest and white soda accents, with the lemon carrying through the finish (just a little bit of sourness there). Light-bodied with tight, aggressive carbonation on the palate.. tangy and refreshing at times, and tacky at others.. very drinkable, but not that enjoyable.
