| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 6, 2008 Flavorless - bland - smells OK though. Pours a cloudy gold with a lot of head. It sounded like I was pouring soda. Flavor is a mild yeast flavor, not much else. Granted, better than Becks - - but I wanted a better representation for my first Altbier. darkseduction (206), Zweibrücken, Germany
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 24, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Nice clear colour, quite pale for an Altbier. Malty, first class hops here, very complex. Surely brewed with love and always a pleasure to drink. tomciccateri (514), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 9, 2008 From tap at Pinkus Brewery in Münster. Appearance: light gold and clear with little white head. Aroma: Hop flowers with a little honey sweetness. Flavor and Palate: reminds at a slighltly sweeter Riesling wine, honey and apricot with little acidity. Lively carbonated with a dry and light bitter finish. Overall this beer and the brewery itself is a must go, if you are in the capital of Westphalia. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Musty wood notes and spicy grapes aroma with some alcohol and light meaty gravy. Hazy, light brown body with a big medium-lasting foamy white head. Flavour has mild Belgian yeast characteristics, some alcohol and some oxo cube. Medium-full body. Repeatable but uninteresting. bboeckl (135), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 27, 2007 Poured a golden yellow with thick white head. Very yeasty. Taste was very mild, little to no hops evident. Sour. Citrus flavors present. Very much like drinking lemon juice but not quite that acidic. A bit of lemon rind or pulp mixed in. Not my cup of tea... er... beer. NeonLX (258), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Nov 5, 2007 From a 500 ml bottle, this pours an ever-so-slightly cloudy golden color with a smallish white head. Malty, bready aroma with a hint of fruitiness. Surprisingly fruity initial taste with a zesty spiciness. Quite malty, with a moderate hopping that shows up in the finish. Fairly light-bodied but a nice range of tastes in this brew. redlight (1496), Winter Park, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 27, 2007 Honey malty aroma, hints of cereal. Pours light gold with a thin but solid white head, as champagne-like bubbles shoot to the surface. Smooth and light with a crisp bite, good honey malt flavors, with a slight hop spice in the background. You can definitely put these away!
