Bottle: purchased in North Park Liquor, 7/26/07. This German blond appears as a cloudy and fizzy gold with a snap crackle pop sounding head. The aroma is a light touch of sweet banana and yeast that is very assuring it wont be a plain blond ale. The flavor, however, is a semi flat with minimum amount of banana and tasty yeast to be found. But, it will allow more of a grain and cardboard taste to take complete charge of its flavor character instead. Not to shabby for the style but then again its not that great either.

Bottle. Nice aroma: lemon zest, straw, hay, white pepper and a hint of pine. Pours bright gold with decent bright white head retention. Quite bready on the palate. A little bit of grains and honey. I was expecting a little more of that nice sweet/sour from the nose to make it to the flavor. Finishes fairly creamy with a quick, sharp bite of hops.

Not too shabby. Seemed like the kind of oppressively hot day for a nice German original, and this one hit the spot. Absolutely beautiful beer, full, golden, and extremely lively. Crisp and flavorful, with a slight malty funk and notes of lemon zest. Something just a bit anonymous about it, but a satisfying brew nonetheless.

aroma of wet soiled baby diapers.average head.clear golden color.Has that golden beer taste that I so don’t like,HOWEVER,this one is smooth, and not so repulsing.still finishes with a strange taste of okra??This is quite a different tasting beer from what I am used to.This is very drinkable, but I don’t think I would buy it again. Not my style, but maybe it’s yours.being that it is certified organic,i feel like I have drank someting good for me.

Pour is a cloudy golden with a large white head. Aroma is musty with some melon and yeast. Flavor is slightly malty and grain with some notes of honey and melon. I agree this is more a golden ale than a alt but this is quite tasty on a warm day.

500 mL. Slight haze in the golden-orange beer with a medium head that lasts. Aroma is slight honey, malt and grassy-metallic hop. Front flavor is delicately rich malt and cereal, with an ever-so-slow slide to an equally delicate and bitter hop finish. Palate is smooth and medium-bodied.

Pours a darker golden brown with nice head. Malty backbone, some sweetness. Light fruity finish with some hops.
