Mar 27, 2009 nice enough golden it it flavorful and layered in that delivery. lightly sweet and refreshing it is malty and fresh with light hop citrus infusion that gives interest to a hop head like me. soft carbonation indeed touch of dark sweetness.

[ As Pinkus Original Obergärig Alt ]. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fresh fruit, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081130]

Feb 10, 2009 16.9 oz bottle. Just clear straw with a cobwebby white head. Nose is very faint dough, lemon and green apple. Crisp with lively carb; not quite light. Taste is wheaty, lemon pith and a touch of brown sugar.

Feb 6, 2009 Pours a cloudy, dull gold. Almost a hint of metallic rub. Smallish white head. Aroma of sour fruit and earth. Flavor is similar. Very thin in the mouth with a watery finish.

Poured golden with a hint of amber in color and a medium-sized, fizzy, white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Hazy. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly to medium sweet. Tastes of malts, wheat, noble hops, grains, slight lemon, and light spices. Light to medium body. Thin, dry texture. Average carbonation. Sweet, malty, noble hop finish is dry.
