5th year anniversary beer at new world home cooking, near hippietown USA. .5L Bottle. In fact this was one beer on their fairly comprehensive list that I had not had. Presented in the proper tall stem glass. I had two. Light body matches the nose of light grains. Pours a lightly hazy yellow with a thin head. Body is quick and unpretentious. Yeast bite is muted but a central pilar of this unfiltered brew. Hops are in the outer rings and merely a compliment to the olid statement of a body. This went well with the eloquent hamburger and fancy schmansy mushroom starter that the wife ordered and ate. Easy drinking and understated as an unfiltered beer.

I would have to say this is the most beerish beer I have ever had. Everything from the light yellow color, the the dry mouth feel to the malty yeasty taste is what I would try to tell a person about if they had never heard of beer before. While i was not a big fan of this I can respect such a traditional German beer.

metallic sweet aroma with some malt. malt with yeast malt and hop, purity is clear. another well done beer from the folks at pinkus.

Aroma very minimal, sweet fruit ans yeast. Yeasty beer with tart undertones and lightly spiced carbonation that lingers. Light fruity notes throughout.

Grain aroma with a mild amount of yeast. Hazy golden color with a medium white head. Light beginning with a sweet grainy malt finish. Light but sticky palate.

Gold color. Nice white head. Nice aroma that made me happy. Citrusy. Malty lavors in there. Medium body. A medium beer, which I thought smelled nice.

Aroma – Very light pale ale aroma with light hops and malts.
Appearance – Light golden in color, Nice head and clear.
Flavor – This was not a Alt beer more like a light ale. I see it is listed as an golden ale. Very light malts and hops in the flavor.
Palate – Good ale Mouthfeel, nice texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A decent pale ale this had some nice flavor and was easy to drink interesting name to be an Munster alt.

altbier my foot!?! ... very pale gold... some foam but low .. some nice flavours, honey lychee- kinda of intriguing ... again, if this is an altbier, i’d be very surprised- i am not an altbier expert but it seems like a light version .. a decent enjoyable beer but nothing like i expected..
