Has THE most intense carbonation I have ever witnessed. Good lord it looks like a tornado inside the glass. Served in a tall footed pilsener glass. The aroma is grassy, wet hay, a little bitter from noble hopping, sweet. Flavor is similar, grassy, hay, sweet. Nice carbonated mouthfeel. pepperford (115), robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 6, 2008 pillowy head, cloudy gold-yellow color. light, malty sweet, and a touch of sourness at the back. not bad. AdamSkillin (376), High Bridge, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 4, 2008 A really earthy malt taste like some of the other German organic brews I’ve had, without the real bitter finish of a trus pilsner. I like this beer, but it’s not a fantastic example. Cybercat (797), Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 29, 2008 This pils pours a nice golden amber with a thick but not persistent head. Aroma is richly malty with a fruity hint. Flavor is fully malty with a whisper of sweetness and a little hop bitterness as a nice counterpoint, as well as some hints of apple. Texture is very smooth, more like a cider than a pilsner, and there is a little hop flavor in the aftertaste. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 24, 2008 500ml - Aroma is very sweet like cotton candy and not much else. Pours cloudy yellow with a medium head and good lacing. Flavor is Euro malt with subtle spicy hops. Palate is creamy and tart. The aroma is so artificial and sweet, it really killed this one for me. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 7, 2008 Bottle, pours a medium hazy honey gold with orange and amber touches, a white head that relaxes to a thin or less covering and ring, labels states that this beer is not filtered, you can see that with the pile of sediment in the bottle and particles in the glass, medium lacing with fine bubbles on the glass, nice malt aroma with malt sweetness and faint honey and bread on the nose, faint cookie and floral fragrances, flavors of light malt and malt sweetness with a nice soft lemon citrus at the end, even crisp bitterness at the finish that is good and dry on the tongue and is not abrupt but really pleasant, medium mouth feel, not a lot of carbonation, a touch of water thinness but is very nice to drink, I recommend trying this beer. jjuf1853 (471), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
