The nose was of light malts, lemons and floral hops. The taste started bready and malty up front with grassy/citrusy notes and ended with a nice bitter hop backbone. It had a nice, smooth, medium feel. Pilseners aren’t among my favorite styles, but this one is quite good. bhensonb (4289), Woodland, California, USA

Golden color with a white head that flattened. Medium bodied; the carbonation bites a bit. The flavor is light sweet pale malt - a bit biscuity. The finish is rather dry, and has citrus and grassy notes. A decent bitter finish. Arguably crisp and clean. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of citrus, floral and grassy hops. The flavor is sweet pale malts upfront and finishes with a citrusy bitterness. Not bad. Sammy (4013), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Mine was not cloudy and it was definately pils, not ur-pils, so I’m pretty sure there is a mixup in Pinkus products. Anyway, clear pils with crispy nose. Fresh flavor with medium grassy hoppiness and malts, no aftertaste really. Very straightforward pils and a pretty good one. Good balance. It’s nice that there is a bio product that doesn’t taste overly bio as they often do. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jul 16, 2007 Updated: Aug 4, 2007Cloudy yellow, similar to a hefeweizen. Little bit of white head that doesn’t last too long. Smell is mostly of the yeast which is much like a mild hefeweizen light spiced smelling yeast. Taste is some spiced yeast, a touch of malt, and almost no bitterness. I guess I prefer my beer non-organic because this isn’t doing much for me. This does not taste like a pilsner to me. Tastes more like an American wheat. Not what I was expecting and not something I care for, although it is drinkable. I can’t see ever having the opportunity to drink this for free anywhere, so I probably won’t be having this beer again. Nothing special. patrick767 (2033), fort wayne, Indiana, USA

The aroma has yeast, mild malt, and some light floral hops. Flavor is mild hops, sweet malts, and yeast with a medium body and a soft mouthfeel. This brew is easy drinking and refreshing yet flavorful, a good pilsener. SynergyXJ (506), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA
