Caramel aroma, noticeable in flavour along with some dry cereal notes. Pretty thin...maybe not fresh enough. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada

(Even the aroma has balance) hazy golden color. Medium white foam floating on the surface. Skunky bitterness is very forward. very strong hop. sharp swiss cheese finish? (interesting) Very dry. Organics here make a big difference. nramsburg (205), New York, New York, USA

Tastes quite light and it’s hard to get much of anything, besides perhaps a bit of cornbreadiness. Like I said, not a bad beer, but it’s not a favorite of mine, though I should temper this by admitting I’m not an hugepilsner drinker. rocbyter (923), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 6, 2007 500 ml bottle, from Capone’s in Norristown PA. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow gold. Nice small foamy bright white head with good retention. Good amounts of lacing. Nose is bready and doughy with a light delicate floral hoppiness and a little yeast. Flavor is lightly doughy pils malt with a nice soft hoppiness. Finishes with a light vegetal note and a little yeast. Body is light and soft with a fairly watery texture and fizzy carbonation. A pretty nice beer, I was surprised to see this so poorly rated. I think that the unfiltered nature of this was a welcome change from the average Pilsener, I wish more would do it.
