solid german beer but not fancy by any means. nice bread smell, fizzy in the mouth, and clean crisp finish. i wish i had about three more of these right now.

Cloudy beige. The aroma is yeasty (sweat, dust) and fruity. There is a doughy yeast note that takes the lead here, followed by a moderate herbal-grassy bitterness and light hop taste. Malts are fairly subdued, in the north German tradition. OK...the yeast that differentiates it from most of its peers also gets in the way a bit, though. UPDATE: a fresher sample yields what one might expect...I didn’t really notice that the other sample rated wasn’t fresh but here it’s evident that this one is. The hops explode in the aroma and the brightness of the flavours is far beyond any of the canned pilsners I’m used to drinking. Major upgrade...it’s a pils, it’s got to be fresh. (Still a bit mild, though. I want more bitterness!)

Definately not a bad beer. Pours a nice orange color with not too much head. Tastes like liquid bread and has a nice little sweer flavour. I paid 5 dollars for this bottle of beer, so I am not sure if it was quite worth it, but in general this is certainly not a bad beer.

(50 cl bottle at The Rover, Göteborg) Clear straw yellow color, white head. Sweet grainy malty scent. A bit thin mouthfeel, but not bad. Refreshing and nice. Crisp malty taste. Medium bitterness.

Bottled. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, hops and bigtime honey. Flavour is watery hops with some slight honeyish notes. Also some wooden notes after it gets warmer.

Bottled. Pale yellow, very small white head. Grass, vegetables, honey in the buttery nose. Harsh, woody hoppy and sweet malty, Not much pils, more like a pale lage - German supermarket lager.
