Then I found a single much shaken bottle this week. Yeast is very present but I left 95% of the floaties in the bottle for the rating. Pale yellow with a persistent thin white covering. Soft hop nose with scents of bread and young grass. Flavour is a little too sweet. Noticeable light hops and a sour bitterness in the finish. Not sure if the sourness is due to the questionable nature of the bottle. Suttree (2742), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Nice rich, bready aroma. Flavor is also bready, with a definate yeast note. Understated, but enjoyable. joergen (8632), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 11, 2006 Orabgey straw colour with minimal head. Aroma is malty, bready with some nice citrus hops. Flavour begins malty with cereal notes and then turns quite hoppy with a bitter finish. Nice bitterness to this otherwise malty pilsner. Blackbarrel (116), new york, New York, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 8, 2006 Golden yellow with a weak white head. Some spicyness and citric tones to the aroma and some sweet malts. The taste is citric ending quite sweet with a spicy finish. CharlesDarwin (1849), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 4, 2006 Fresh crisp aroma of sweetgrass and seminal light mediterranean salt herbs. Pour of lightly cloudy hot yellow. Flavor is a rich toothy bite of whole grain and rising minutia of toasted oats. Whispers with a drop of sweet lemon extract. Backed with a heavy hand of favoring hops in the high alpine mode. I think the heavy refreshing quality of this beer really helps it along.
