Light hops in the aroma, but there is a good amount of other grains as well. Typical pilsner taste, wheaty and flowery, light hop accents. Slightly sweet ending. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

This beer has a slightly hidden aroma but everything about it expresses cleanliness. It is very soft and not bitter. Nicely balanced with malt and hop. BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 9, 2006 My first German beer... Faint, inoffensive smell. Murky dark yellow body, with little to no head to speak of. Less strong taste than I might have expected, but surprisingly pleasing, if a bit weak. Not a bad beer. Not soemthing I’d get all the time, but definitely a good beer and something I might get again.... The Pilsener style is growing on me, I must admit... phip1 (9), USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 9, 2006 500 ml bottle. delicious. nice slightly wheaty and yeasty taste. Hops gather intensity towards tail and smoothen out. Overall a verycrisp clean easy drinking pils. mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Jan 24, 2006 Very thin and watery. Not sweet or bitter. Some very light fruit. Very slight dough. Really nothing here at all. Virtually no hops or malt. Possible touch of yeast character. I guess it’s easy to drink, since it’s so watery. I don’t like this style a ton, but I don’t see how anyone who does can like this beer. A 2 is probably being nice.
