(bottle) Clear yellow colour with a foamy white medium head. Sweet malty aroma with floral hops and honey. Very crisp, malty mouthfeel, slightly grainy malty taste with a citrus fruity palate and a dry and aromatic hopbitter finish. A good and well-made Pilsener.

Sampled from bottle. Pinkus Ur-Pils pours a faintly hazy, yellow-gold with a generous, frothy white head. Remnants of lacing were left in thick sheets along the glass. Its aroma has an odd apple/wet hay character to it. It was far from unpleasant, but odd nonetheless. Nicely bitter flavor with a strong Euro malt backbone and grassy hops. Medium-bodied and lightly carbonated.

Good pour. Golden color with a plethora of tiny bubbles floating to meet the double fingered cream colored head. Yeasty, grass, buttery and citrus in the nose. Sweet and citrus in the mouth along with a back of the tongue bitterness from the hops. Great effervescence still! Unfiltered with small amount of sediment. Slightly off-dry but with a sweet floral note. Nothing out of the ordinaly, but for an organic beer, (suposedly Germany’s oldest organic brewery) nice flavor and quite refreshing.

A murky, golden/wheat color with tiny particles. Woodsy aroma with cream soda and light alcohol. Hint of grasses. Balanced flavor, lightly spiced... inoffensive, refreshing, but a tad bland. Dry and creamy in the mouth. A good pils.

Poured a light colored gold that looked like it was watered down. Fizzy head created and dies out in my pilsener glass rather quick. Not much flavor to be mentioned besides grain and malt. Boring beer.

Decent if unremarkable german Pils...tastes a little watered down, with hints of cut grass. Payoff I usually expect in the form of a hopped up finish...but was a little tepid in that regard.

Pours an orangish-yellow with a bubbly white lasting head. Smells like brewing beer, and tastes grassy with some corn. Not great, but not bad.

I rather enjoyed this pilsener. I thought the primary flavor here was the grassy quality, but there is a nice hoppiness here along with some crisp maltiness. I would say that this beer is interesting enough to give it a try.
