Taste is OK. Not as crisp as I would expect a pilsener, a bit more creamy and rounded. Not very crisp and not much hop profile here. A fruity sourness with some very light hops in the finish. Not bad but nothing that stands out to my taste. Decent drinker but not one I’ll seek out again.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 28, 2005 Pale straw color with an average waxy white head. Could have sworn I rated this before. Dry grain and mild yeast and raisin aromas. Can say I never was a big fan of this one and this latest bottle confirms it. Light grainy flavors with a mild floral backdrop that just seems to sweeten things up more. Has more of a keller brew taste. Just not much of what I am looking for in a pils. Perhaps if I thought of this as a zwickle I would enjoy it more, but than again maybe not. Cleansing mouthfeel, cuts through the dust. Not bad,a little a decent Pilsner. jackamackson (127), USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 17, 2005 Sweet, fruity (pear, lemon) and grainy aroma with some floral hops apparent. Opaque, hazy, deep yellow with pillowy, white, large-bubbled head that recedes slowly with some nice lacing. Lemon-citrus and pear flavours dominate the sweet flavour with some graininess and a crisp finishing bitterness. Light body with strong carbonation. Odd for style but refreshing although flavour degrades severely as it warms. Why does it seem like every beer I have from this brewery seems to taste like a wheat beer? | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 12, 2005 Pours hazy gold with moderate white head, fruity malty aroma and flavor with subtle spice balanced by hops that seem light for a PIls but with a long hop finish. Smooth palate, a pleasant-enough easy-drinking Pilsner.
