Slightly hoppy aroma, some of the grainy breadiness in the aroma. Flavors were similarly bready, with lots of the hops. Somehow a bit too light in body... lacking something. It’s nice that this beer is organic and all, but it doesn’t pack the punch it should... Rciesla (3719), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 9, 2009 Bottle, Liquor World, Fayetteville AR. Slightly hazy yellow, modest white head. Lots of hay in the nose, some raw doughy malt. A bit flabby on the palate. Wish for either a little more carbonation or a little more hop bite to life the neutral sweetness of the malt. There is a little nice grassy hop flavor, and a little pleasantly unrefined yeastiness. But on the whole, it just feels awkward and unfinished. bvbellomo (3), , Ohio, USA does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2009 Dark for a Pilsner, and very cloudy, even for unfiltered beer. As a homebrewer, I never filter anything, and have never made a beer this cloudy. Finish is too sweet for my palate, but taste and aroma contain many pleasant but subtle elements. Hops come through, but could be stronger. Some citrus, earthy notes, honey, grass. Overall, a good, but restrained taste. To me, not the best example of the Pilsner style.
