Grassy hop aroma. Small head with some quick-to-fade lace. A clear golden yellow to the beer. Moderate body. Nice mild hoppy taste with hints of sweet potato and a dry finish. Grassy hops persist throughout, and a little salty and cashew like in the end. Nice take on the pilsener.

bottle @ ’the beer bistro’ in chicago. hazy gold color, nice white quickly disappearing head, some lacing. nose of grain, corn, but mild. flavor has wonderful corn notes, with bitter hops nicely off-setting the corn sweetness. medium bodied, bitter-sweet finish. very enjoyable. refreshing. top-notch pils. have another.

[bottle--thanks, pivnizub!; the bottle says 5.0% abv] Very nice aroma of fresh hops that are a bit herbal and lemony, together with a crips maltiness. Crystal clear gold under a lacy, white flannel blanket. Sweet base malt flavour with a little caramel and nicely rounded bitterness that is in good balance to the sweet malt, but with not quite enough hops flavour. Some salted nuts. Medium body, crisp, moderate carbonation.

Bottled sample. Light gold in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas of fat pilsner malts, and lemony/grassy hops. Flavors of sweet pale malts, wet stones, French bread, and a bit of grassy hops. Medium bodied, with some moderate bitterness. Could be dryer. Average at best.

Bottle from the Utah State Store. Pours a golden hue with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is full of malts, some floral hops and grass too. The flavor is pretty good; smooth and rich malts mostly, also, some dry yeast cider-like flavors. A touch of hops and a generally smooth and watery body. Very nice and quaffable.

500 mL bottle from Market Street Wineshop Downtown Charlottesville. Slightly hazy amber color with a 2-finger head that quickly disappears. Grassy, bready aroma. Taste is biscuits, grain, caramel, some fruit notes and bitter hops. Medium bodied.

Hazy yellow pour with a fluffy white head and drippy lace. Biscuit malts and floral hops on the nose. Thin bodied, grassy, and hints of malts. it is what it is

Bottle from Sam’s. Finally getting around to trying this classic. Pours a somewhat cloudy golden yellow with a nice white head and great carbonation. Nose is biscuit malts with a very mild hop profile. Easy drinking with flavors of grassy hops, plain crackers, and a mild sweetness. A fine beer, and what I expected, if not too interesting.
