RuneStumo (495), FØRRESFJORDEN, Norway May 1, 2009 01.05.2009, 0,5l Bottle. The colour is pale yellow. The beer is hazy and the head is long lasting when you poor it fast. there is not much maltaroma. The bitterness is also a little weak. This beer generaly tastes litle. Some fruitines in the aftertaste. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Apr 8, 2009 Bottle. It pours a slightly hazy, golden body under a quite small white head. Grainy and slighlty fruity nose, some hay and cooked rutabaga chime in. There’s some cooked vegetebles in the flavor too, along with hay, grains and some fruityness. A little citrus and pine too. Low on bitterness. Medium body, quite effervescent. Lasting but a bit weak finish with a little bitterness to blend with the fruityness and grains. A quite refreshing and drinkable beer, but a bit too effervescent, and the DMS is way to obvisous. Finished the bottle, and maybe I could have had more, as the off-flavor and aroma sort of mellowed after a while. Won’t buy more of it though. (090408) Finn (1422), Tromsø, Norway Mar 30, 2009 Bottle 0,5l. Pale golden colored. A small creamy head. Modest malty and fruity aroma. Well rounded flavor with some malt. A sourish bitterness in the finish. KI=7 tarjei (1741), Bryne, Norway Mar 26, 2009 50 cl bottle at home. Golden color, fine white head. Aroma is sweetish with hops. Flavor is grainy with a sweet and moderate bitter finish. Refreshing and fine light lager. Sigmund (2197), Hafrsfjord, Norway Mar 18, 2009 500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 5.1%. "Naturtrüb und ungefiltert". Like all Pinkus beers, it is organic. Pale golden colour, big and lasting white head. Moderate carbonation in the glass. Fairly unremarkable but not unpleasant sweetish aroma, hints of flowery hops and honey. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is delicate and tender, with a neat balance between the malts and hops. No "flavour bomb", but still much better than most of the industrial "fizzy and yellow" stuff.
