Aromas of earthiness, carmel and light fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and light fruitiness with a smooth dry lingering moderatly bitter finish. A very British pale ale. GregMB (8), USA does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 26, 2007 Tap. Yellow/orange with a white head. Pretty hoppy for an English pale ale, but euro hops, definitely not any American hops in here. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA

This tastes like all the rest. I am done with their frakn beers. Some apple notes. Wow. BFD. arjoseph (594), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jun 8, 2005 On tap into shaker glass. Semi-hazy amber yellow (more yellow than amber) with an off-white head with good retention. Smell is floral hops and banana and bubble gum. Very sweet and malty with some latent grapefruit juiciness and low bitterness on the finish. Buttery malts, somewhat caramelly and smoky. Smooth and balanced; good body and mouthfeel, but very mellow in flavor. Best Pints beer I had.
