Dec 2, 2007 On cask @ Pints Pub poured a clear reddish brown with a lingering light amber head. Aromas of carmel, toffee, cocoa, dates, light coffcee and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of bakers chocolate, tobbaco, toffee and light carmel with a smooth dry lin gering bitter finish.

Jun 25, 2007 Maroon amber with a bubbly head in this cask conditioned ale. Aroma was burnt caramel malt funk, translating into a smoky rauch malt character in flavor with a dry, burnt caramel finish.

Dec 9, 2006 On tap at the Pints Brew Pub [1/2 pint glass]. Cask. Poured a deep brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of nuts, light chocolate, caramel, and lightly fruity.

Oct 26, 2006 Tap at Pint’s. Nice brown color on the pour. Nut aroma and taste throughout. Nothing spectacular, but very drinkable. This is my favorite Pint’s brew, for what its worth.

Jul 19, 2006 Light nutty caramel aroma, that matches the flavor quite nicely. Rich nutty maltiness, that has some decent fruit characters, that turns into a dry bitter finish.
