Dec 2, 2007 On tap@ pints Pub poured a clear deep brown with garnet highlights and a lasting tan head. Aromas of carmel, peat, brown sugar, milk chocolate and coffee. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, peat, cocoa and coffee with a smooth sweet malty finish.

Dark coloured and slightly rich on the palate. Fruity aroma. Slightly dry roast finish.

Jul 19, 2006 Cookie dough maltiness, with just ahint of acrid smoke pervading in the aroma, but disappears in the flavor. Has a bit of a saddle drawn vinous fruit note, along with some caramel maltiness. Simple texture, with just a bit of roastiness in the finish.
