Frothy head with an Amber look. It had an acetic taste and after-taste that lasted an average time. It had a light look to it.

Intense, saturated red-amber color, utilitarian label, appearance ding for the twistoff. Big sweet malt aroma, with some sunflower seeds. Medium sweetness, followed by a sharp astringent bitterness leading into the finish. Undercarbonated. Marzen caramel character underneath an odd beer.

Deep clear amber color with a light tan bubbly head. Buttered toast and sweet malt aromas. Faint grassy aroma that distacts a bit. Dry toasty malt flavors with a hint of what seems to be off flavor hops. Very dry finish with a pleasant malt linger. Flavors just do not seem to balance. A strange observance - this one seem to improve as it gets warmer. Odd for a lager.

Sweetly malty aroma, caramel and something like candy corn(?!). Medium amber-red color, average head. Flavor is a little toasty and sweet, some caramel flavor and nuttiness. Out-of-place vegetal flavor on the finish, which also has some moderate astringency and spicy bitterness. Can't recommend this one.

Slightly hazy ( particles) red color with a small off white head. Sweet malt, candy like aroma. Caramel roasted malt taste with a chewy mouthfeel. Sweetness is more prevalent upon swirling.

I’m not a big fan of Reds in general, but this one is drinkable.

Light red- brown color, medium head. A medium bodied red ale. Slightly roasted malts, nicely sweet. Mild hops although somewhat spicy. Nice balance, good taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
