Narnad (681), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA Oct 26, 2009 Pours a hazy golden color with a modest white head the fades down quickly. Aroma is light grainy, a gumball fruitiness, light citrus and some light floral hops. Flavor has a more pronounced gumball sweetness to it than I was expecting, some floral hops comes through with a mild grainy ending. Body is light, texture is thin, moderate amount of carbonation makes for an okay amount of lacing. Overall not a bad brew as it wasn’t like another Kolsch I have tasted. arkurzynski (89), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA Sep 20, 2009 Pours pale yellow with bubbly head. Medium hop aroma. Somewhat citrusy. Refreshing, but nothing special. noncaloric (601), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Sep 7, 2009 Hazy gold, a nice bloom of sticky white head fading to a ring, only temporary lace. Fast-fading simple pale malt aroma. Nice fruity components in the flavor profile, I’ll call it apricot and citrus. Overall just mildly sweet. Finishes a bit off, slightly scuzzy staleness to it. Thin to medium body, but a very lively palate to make up for it. drowland (1360), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 17, 2009 I bought this thinking it would be something crazy or interesting, and it turned out to be a Kolsch... and not hardly a good one at that! jjkuck10 (36), , Wisconsin, USA Aug 5, 2009 Light aroma of hops and wheat. Light white head and yellow color. Crisp, light flavor with smooth finish.

12 oz bottle from Three Cellars (Franklin, WI). Clearing out the last of the brews from our last trip. Pours a bright yellowish straw with some haze with bright white head that settles to a film and laces decent. Aromas are a bit fruity, grainy malts take over, faint floral, a touch of gumball. Initial is a little bland, grainy up front, light fruity and gumball sweetness towards the backend. Faint skunk on the finish, mellow fruit. This isn’t bad, just a bit bland. Would like to try a fresh tap version. Finish lightly sweet, slightest bitter. More of a lawnmower brew. Overall, lacks flavor. drpimento (785), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Jul 27, 2009 Guess it’s ok. Can tell what they’re trying to do - it’s a bit like the Kolsch I recently had in Cologne, Germany. This one’s a little heavier and not as fresh seeming. Anyway, served with a small to medium white head and a bit of lace. Color is a very clear light gold. Aroma is light grain, a hint of lemon, and soft. Flavor’s the same. Body is soft and forgettable. Not one of their better beers. And the name- gimme a break. Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jul 3, 2009 Bottle courtesy of the mother in law. Decent amount of sweetener to blend in well with the malt. Hazy yellow body with white head. Good amount of bitterness with some sweet malt in the flavor. Cool and crisp on the palate decent beer for a 100 degree morning in the desert.
