May 9, 2009 (Bottle courtesy of Headbanger) - Color is a hazy pale gold with light carbonation and a very thin head. Aroma is a hay like malt scent. Taste is fruity and light. Starting with a light body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish is a fruity malt taste with a hint of yeast and a mild bitterness. After taste is bland and dry. Overall its OK, just not a style I like much.

Apr 26, 2009 12oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan color. No real head. Sweet malty aroma. Medium bodied, crisp but finishes malty sweet. Pleasantly balanced by it’s crisp hops, It doesn’t really manage to capture much of the Kolsch subtleties. Not bad by any means, and a little harshly underrated. Easy drinking session stuff, probably best fresh in Wisconsin.

Mar 20, 2009 Pour is a clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma is next to nothing. Maybe some faint malts. Flavor is about the same. Almost nothing stands out. A big weak, watery nothing.

Mar 20, 2009 Bottle from strykzone. Thanks dave!! Pours a clear golden color. Has a malty and grainy aroma. I dont know if it was because this beer was half decent or i was thirsty but I actually enjoyed it. It was malty but not overly sweet. Some grassy notes, but they melded well within the beer. I was surprised I liked it.

Jan 29, 2009 Bottle from Beer Geek. Hazy orange gold color. Not much head. Rather grassy/fruity aroma. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is fruity/grass, not at all sweet. Near astringent. Like typical lager ingredients were used with ale yeast. Nothing really stands out. It is light and fruity, and refreshing. More flavor than many Kolsch I’ve tried.

Jan 4, 2009 12 ounce bottle from a friend. Thanks! Pours a clear golden color with lots of visible carbonation. Medium white frothy head shows good head retention and good lacing. Musky grain aroma with some grassy hop notes as well as some fruitiness. Taste is grain, grassy hops, melon, and a bit of a cheesy finish. Medium bodied.
