| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 23, 2007 Bottled. Poured slightly hazy medium amber with a short, spotty cap of beige head. The aroma picked up sweet vegetal and caramel malts, leaning toward the compost-type veggies.. not so much offensive as it was unenjoyable. The same components "grace" the flavor along with some of the promised fruit and some herbal notes. Tacky and ugly on the palate, leaving a sweet vegetal finish. Nothing good going for this one. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Apr 7, 2007 Hazy light amber color, small off white head that faded quickly leaving little behind. The aroma was mildly malty with a hint of graininess and a fruity side that is kind of sweet in a way.The flavor is nothing special, mild malty side some hints at fruit and caramel with a mild hop showing...Nothing special but it would do in a pinch over some other brews. alexanderj (2270), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Mar 13, 2007 Draft. Didnt know much about it before hand. Aroma was sweet and floral. Taste was of sweet malt, some grass, floral and fruit. Good mouthfeel. It was ok, but easy drinking. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 7, 2007 Bottle. Golden, bubbly body under a thin foamy head. Wet grainy aroma with a spicy hopping. The start of the flavor gets away from the wet grain and goes towards a tasty lightly toasted pale malt and spicy hops but it finishes with the same wet grain (starchy & dry) feeling. Underwhelming stuff. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 23, 2007 Poured a medium hazy amber with a faint head. Big grainy yeast aroma. The flavor I cannot really describe. It is the first Kolsch style I have tried. Sort of an ashtray flavor. Not that I have tasted an ashtray but you know what I mean. Its not bad. I just cant describe it. JCapriotti (1378), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 30, 2006 Fizzy gold body. Frothy white head. Fruity Miller-like hops in the aroma, along with some sweet grainy malt. Taste is moderately stale, and along the same lines as the aroma. The staleness cuts into the sweetness though, which is okay by me. A little too fizzy though. LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA
