12oz bottle. Poured a medium golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of bread and some grain (mainly bready). Tastes of mainly bread as well with some sweet malts. A little too one dimensional for me.

Clear bright pale golden color has a thin, airy, frothy white head. Sweaty pale malty sweet nose has some light fruity esters and is pretty true to style. Body starts with a light sweetness and some light earthy bittering hop balance. Finishes smooth and drinkable. A pretty decent Kölsch.

Not a bad attempt at a kolsch. It poured a brownish gold with an unstylistically short-lived head. The aroma was grassy with a bit of peppery spiciness. Medium bodied, the malt tastes are accompanied by a bit of tart fruitiness and some white pepper spiciness. Crisp finish. Not bad at all.

Slightly hazy dark straw color with a white somewhat thin head. Light fruit, light malt, light corn. Just a very light kolsch, which on very hot days would be okay, otherwise I would prefer a little more substance.

12 oz bottle. Right on man! Dude, I was thinkin’ I wouldn’t get any more of that crunchy kolsch stuff any more this summer and whatnot. Dude this is pale gold and clear, but if you look into it a lot it’s like, whoah its stil clear. Weird huh? And dude it smells a little like honey and new-mown grass. Ha ha ha, not that kind of grass I wish dude. Pretty nice though, and the taste is phat as well, I don’t know what all these raters gotta be such a downer on this fine libation for. It’s got the malts, the dry firm malts, it’s smooth as my last glass pipe was before I got busted with it, and it’s cleaner than my birkenstocks will ever be. No worries, dude, no worries.

Bottle from Beer Geek. Hazy orange gold color. Not much head. Rather grassy/fruity aroma. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is fruity/grass, not at all sweet. Near astringent. Like typical lager ingredients were used with ale yeast. Nothing really stands out. It is light and fruity, and refreshing. More flavor than many Kolsch I’ve tried.

On tap at the Clark Street Ale House in Chicago. Poured a light gold with some cloudiness. The aroma is light and grainy with hay and carrots. The taste is light with celery and a bright freshness. There is also some apple core. Not bad. Tried this again in the bottle. I stand by my previous rating, but it is slightly better on tap.
