biznizness (717), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Jul 12, 2008 This came from the BOM club. Really not that good. Oh well. How much can you say about a beer you will probably never drink again?
Narnad (167), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA Sep 28, 2008 Amber in color with no head and low carbonation. Aroma is a bit nutty with some biscuit aromas. Flavor is nothing really special, low caramel sweetness and little bit of a walnut taste. Overall not too impressive of a beer but definitely better than the macro options. shendrix (473), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Sep 7, 2008 A none too impressive lager, tasting largely of malty corn. The Beer of the Month people need to try a little harder. GeneralGao (2628), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Mar 22, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear dark orange color. Head was two fingers high and off white with decent retention. Some lace was left behind at the end. There were whiffs of biscuity malt and subdued caramel, but not much else. Dry and grainy flavor accented by white paper and some grassy hops. Eh. Skyview (3061), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Dec 2, 2007 Pcked up single 12-oz bottle from Brennan’s Country Farm Market in Brookfield, WI. Pours a clear pale golden amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that almost dissipates clean. Aroma of light multi-grain malt, some gassy hops, and some white bread yeast. Taste is light to medium bodied, well-carbonated, with a white bread and grassy hop flavor. Finish is slightly watery, a mild bitterness, with a light bread aftertaste. Nothing out of the ordinary, just a simple lager beer.
