| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 16, 2008 Appearance: Pours a crystal clear, dark amber body with a tiny, whiteish head.
Smell: Sweet-smelling toasted malt aroma with an underlying tart, fruity note.
Taste: Sweet maltiness yielding flavors of honey and caramel. Slight toasted quality throughout. Dash each of peach and raisin syrup. Very mild spicy hoppiness. Touch of alcohol on the altogether sweet finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Just barely medium carbonation. Slightly sticky mouthfeel.
Drinkability: A surprise, but a pleasant one. Definitely one of the better Sand Creek products I’ve encountered in awhile.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 16, 2007 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear orange-brown color. Head was thick and off white with decent retention. Smelled of malty caramel and steeped barley. Sweet on the tongue with a strong malty cereal grain flavor accented by caramel and a hint of alcohol and molasses. Full bodied. Despite the usual mediocrity of this brewery, this is a pretty decent beer. Ughsmash (4094), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 23, 2007 Bottled. Poured a clear, brilliant reddish-orange with a tall, fluffy cap of beige head. The aroma had an unfortunate dusty detergent character it.. detracted a bit from what seemed like enjoyable caramel and perhaps light chocolatey malts.. dry floral in there on the hop front. Flavor found ample doses of lightly-toasted caramel maltage with a mild, dry, leafy bitterness.. simple and pleasant until the sharper fusel alcohol notes emerge at the finish. Almost medium-bodied and smooth on the palate until the very end. All in all a decent and drinkable brew. PattyBoy (302), North Liberty, Iowa, USA
