12oz bottle. Poured a deeper and cloudy copper color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, toasted nuts, light chocolate and lightly fruity. Tastes of caramel, toasted nuts, light honey and a touch of chocolate. Has a medium honey sweetness to it.

Little about this jumps out and says "bock" to me. Nice orange color with a slight, off-white head. A toasted malt makes itself known in both nose and taste, but it’s only moderately sweet. A touch of juicy fruits. Kind of a rough palate. Little of any hop presence. Finishes on a slightly peppery, faintly caramel note. I need a beer. A bock!

Rich copper color with a smallish amount of light tan bubbles afloat. Heavy toasted malt and dark chocolate aroma. Dry malt flavors that suggest too much specialty grains in the mash. Malt with a touch of sourness that is a bit biting on the tongue. Quite agressive, not a trait I like in my bocks.

I recently had this agian form a bottle at a bar. I gave it the exact same rating. Dark amber and ruby colored body. The head is a light yellowish white. The aroma has fresh bread and some green beans. There is also a hintof caramel. The taste has sweet caramel and some decent roasted green beans. There is also a hint of toffee in the finish. The bosy is thin. This is a decent bock.

Picked up single 12-oz bottle at Brennan’s Country Farm Market in Brookfield, WI. Pours a clear light brownish amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates nearly clean. Aroma of roasted dark malt, a touch of chocolate, grassy hops and some dark berry. Taste is medium bodied, toasted dark malt with additional flavors of caramel, marzipan, chocolate and some fruit. Finish is semi-dry with a toasted dark malt and grassy hop aftertaste that quickly disappears.

Bottled. Poured a clear, brilliant reddish-orange with a tall, fluffy cap of beige head. The aroma had an unfortunate dusty detergent character it.. detracted a bit from what seemed like enjoyable caramel and perhaps light chocolatey malts.. dry floral in there on the hop front. Flavor found ample doses of lightly-toasted caramel maltage with a mild, dry, leafy bitterness.. simple and pleasant until the sharper fusel alcohol notes emerge at the finish. Almost medium-bodied and smooth on the palate until the very end. All in all a decent and drinkable brew.
