Jul 4, 2008 Hazy blonde with a thin creamy white head, lacing. A pleasant aroma of coriander, Curacao, orange pulp. In mouth, a rich sweet malt with coriander and orange, warming alcohol. A rather good strong ale. Late November 2006. Bieropholie import.

Jul 1, 2008 Pours a clear orange color with a huge white head that diminishes slowly and leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is yeasty with sweet bubble gum notes. The flavor is decidedly different, with spicy clove notes. The alcohol is decidedly noticeable and leaves a dry finish.

Jun 23, 2008 Updated: Jun 24, 200833cl bottle from Willow Bend Liquors. Pours a dark semi-clear golden with a massively white thick, frothy head that settles slowly. Aroma is spicy, wheaty with notes of hay, straw sweet yeast, and maltiness. Flavor is complex blend of wheats and yeasts with notes of banana, malt and hoppy-sweetness. Ripe fruit as it warms. NIce Belgian strong ale.

Jun 22, 2008 Hazy dark gold with a small creamy head that lasts throughout. Slightly ripe fruits over yeast with the alcohol just peaking it’s head through. Taste is similar with the alcohol becoming more present but hops coming in to balance it out. Sharpish as it hits the tongue but finishes smooth, kinda creamy and warming. A nice sipper

Jun 19, 2008 Updated: Jun 30, 2008Bottle, Pretty good sized rocky head that doesn’t last very long. Hazy light amber body. Light hoppy aroma with hints of oranges. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Average duration and light sweet finish. This beer goes down way to easy for a 10.5% ABV beer. Not bad but paid way too much for it.

Jun 15, 2008 Somewhat hazy yellow color, big frothy head. Flavor is yeasty sweet bread, spicy pepper, some ripe sweet fruits, and a bit of alcohol. Medium bodied. Finishes sweet and thick. Reminiscent of bread dough, indeed. Good stuff here.
