Commercial Description:
Piraat is a wickedly rich and rounded brew that packs a mighty punch. The powerful glow builds up from inside. Deep golden with a subtle haze. Lots of hops and malt. Mild sweetness. Reminiscent of bread dough, spices and tropical fruits.

draft on Talk Like a Pirate Day, only appropriate! Sugary aromas, hints of banana esters, some citrus, spicy belgian yeast aromas. Pours cloudy gold with with thick white head. Sweet, malty, spicy, a noticable hop presence, some lighter fruit flavors, a pretty good belgian ale.

Bottle, 33cl. Pours a hazy pale yellow color, with a white foamy head. Arome is sweet malts and hops. Some fruits. Flavor is rich and fruity, with some alcohol. Overall a nice belgian beer, but heavy on the alcohol.

Pours gold with just a touch of cloud to it. Slight sweet hop on the nose. Flavor is smooth with a touch of sweet and a citrus tone. Alcohol is slightly noticable, but definitely nowhere near overpowering. Carbonation is high with a lot of bubble on the mouth. Very drinkable, but not an overly unique brew. Smooth and steady. Probably one of the best of the many (7 so far) I have tried from Steenberge. Pour the sediment in and you get a darker, cloudier brew that is slightly sweeter.

hazy yellow body thick white head which had good retention. Aroma was sweet with fruit notes and some floral hops. Flavor was a mix of fruit, spice, bread and hops. Well balanced and not overpowering. Alcohol was a warming presence in the finish.

From bottle :Pours a dark hazy yellow from the bottle, with a huge white head. A sweet fruity, carbonated aroma comes from this beer. Flavor is fruity with touch of spice. Feels tangy in your mouth, with a slightly bitter after taste. Not bad
