330 ml. bottle. Golden colour, a thick non compact head that leaves lace and a ring on the surface when it’s gone. Fruity aroma, apples, oranges, maybe bananas and maybe pine too Some coriander. Silky champagne-like flavor, taste is sweet, some spices, clove, coriander, fruits, but not as distinctive as in the aroma.

330mL bottle - pours golden with almost no head. Aroma is hoppy and quite sugary. Flavour is orange, citrusy and a bit sweet. Alcohol content is very noticeable. Carbonation is quite high. Not one of the best Belgians as it lacks any real identity, but still refreshing.

Tasted on bottle. Too much sugar for one beer, and compared to his 10.5% version the alcohol is better now. Looks again golden but still a very sticky flavour. Carbo finish with lot of thingling.

Honey Yellow with a massive frothy head. Sour, astringent apple, some banana and spice. Taste is sour apple, lemon, orange zest, pine, with clove undertones. Finish vinous and lightly bitter with a viscous mouthfeel. Good, but there are many better Belgian Strong Ales.

Draft at Flying Saucer in a tulip. Deep orange gold with minimal white head. Very faint aroma not too impressive. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, a bit heavy on the hops. Definite warmth but has the backbone to balance the alcohol. Overall ok but not a favorite.

This beer poured a ginormous foamy white head, it had to be at least seven fingers deep (I do not have large hands) above a clear, light gold body. The head dropped away to leave some truly excellent lacing, and the aroma was delicate. Taste was much more robust than the nose suggested with spices and fruit, plus a hopped background. Also, the respectable alcohol content was making itself known. Mouthfeel was quite right to go along with a sweetish finish. Nice, nice beer.
