Starts very malty, deep, dry. Very rousty-smoky notes, a little bit alcoholic. Intense malty finish, very drinkable. Great beer!

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 4, 2004 Chocolat light roasted aroma. Redish brown color, light brown head, good lace, bottle conditioned. Sweet chocolat start, caramel, nice hops, roasted bitter finish, alcoholic, little cheesy in the very end. This is a doppelbock that could very well be beating Andechser and Ayinger if more people would be able to rate it.
