clear dark yellow, creamy cream colored head, solid creamy head,
sweet fruity aroma,
sweet fruity flavor, lots of candy sweetness, lots of fruit character, some bitterness shows up in the finish but gives it complexity rather than balance, the sweetness starts to dry out as it warms,

nice spicyness in the aroma in addition to the sweet malt,
not quite the sweet candy flavor from before but more of a sweet bread flavor, still the spicyness for balance,

Good retention. The unusual nose provides herbal notes of English lavender, pale grains and alcohol heat. Full-bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Almost heavily sweet, lightly bitter and mildly acidic. Sweet, herbal finish. A strange brew and not at all my thing. However, much thanks to Beerlando for giving me the opportunity to try this one! Aroma of sweet, bready biscuity caramel malt with good authenticity and complexity. Body starts fairly sweet and full with nice bready notes toward a crisp, bittersweet finish that hides the alcohol well. Nicely balanced and authentic. Aroma is gorgeous, rich sweet spices, clove, earthy cologne, pear/apple fruitiness and a light mintiness as well. Dry finish with a nice flinty minerally character that balances the sweet spiciness. Really nice brew. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma is bready caramel malt, spicy florals, apricot, honey, and earthy candi sugar. The palate is rich and complex, with well hidden alcohol, and flavor notes of syrupy apricots, candi sugar, malt, citrus, tangerine, mango, and some floral spicy notes. This one was very enjoyable, and another very good beer from these guys, who hold a spot among my top 25 all time brewers.
