fiver29 (703), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Aug 1, 2009 On tap at the brewery. Pours light golden color with with white head. Aroma is mainly grainy. Course mouthfeel. Flavor was mostly astringent from the grain. Not that good. biznizness (930), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Jun 29, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Typical boring golden ale. Perfect for non-beer drinkers (my wife enjoyed it). Seemed to be running out around town, not that it’s worth running out for anyway. Pass on this one. ucusty (1865), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Jun 13, 2009 Clear gold pour, fluffy off white head and drippy lace. Corn and light hops on the nose. Grassy floral hops, bread, and spice. Easy drinking just nothing that keeps it from being boring. durhambeer (1186), Durham, USA Sep 23, 2008 Draft sample from Brewgrass. Big white head and a clear pale golden pour. Crisp and summery, but nothing unique or special about this beer. More of a good summer pilsner, I guess; I couldn’t articulate the difference between a "golden/blond" (which has always seems a vague appellation to me) and a pilsner. Grassy, gently floral hops. Some grain. Crisp finish. Easy to drink. argo0 (6842), Washington DC, USA Sep 22, 2008 (Brewgrass08) Medium white head atop clear pale straw body, nice lacing.
