A nice raisiny quality, with a lot more besides. It was superb with a cube of sharp cheddar, and I wrote to myself to try this with winter soup. jsh12bama (337), Alabama, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 24, 2007 On tap at Barley’s. Slightly cloudy copper with orange tints and thick white head. Some lacing. Aroma is maltly with some hop presence, but is neither strong nor distinct. Light palate. Decent malt/hop combonation on the taste, but the hop character finishes with some astringency. Pretty uneventful. brentfeesh (1038), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 24, 2007 Sampled at the 2007 BrewGrass Festival. Amber pour with a light head. Spicy hop aroma. Flavor does not have much more with spicy, nutty hops that are fairly strong with malty grain. Semi-dry medium body. I could not have been more under whelmed. It was just lackluster.
