Pours a hazy, orange-amber color; white head with good lacing. Earthy and resiny citrus notes in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: bitter, resiny citrus; chewy hop character, with a slight candy sugar malt presence; well-balanced and very drinkable. Lengthy, bitter citrus and earthy finish. jasonp (1510), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA

Nice nose here with aromatics of candied grapefruit that’s well blended into deep toffee malts and peachy butterscotch. Flavor is not as complex, but still good with soft bitter citric notes balancing on a sweet caramel tone. Very drinkable at 7.5% without a doubt. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. Well made and just a touch different then your standards. Thanks for sharing Schutzenliesel… ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

Very fruity and floral nose, with notes of grapefruit, a general fruit cocktail aroma which is kind of like pears, pineapple and marachino cherries. It’s also slightly grassy in the nose, almost like Amarillo hops, but it’s also a little bit dank and I don’t usually get that from Amarillo. Semi-dry taste, starchy as well, with some nicely bitter grassy hop flavors, crisp and snappy hops, with some sweet and resinous apple flavors in the finish. Well-made. Aroma of orangy citrus hops and a touch of sweet caramel malt. Body starts slightly caramely malty sweet with a black peppery hoppy character and some citrusy flavor hops. Not sure if I like the black peppery hoppy flavor, but otherwise a pretty decent IPA. goldtwins (4080), Nesconset, New York, USA
