clear copper, frothy cream head, nice scattered lace, citrus hop aroma, very creamy body, lots of great hop flavor with good citrus character, good balancing malt with a touch of sweetness, light bitter finish, it’s all about the hop flavor making a great drinkable IPA

(growler, thanks Schutzenliesel) Hazy amber body topped by medium off-white head, nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/floral, some peach, caramel. Taste is mild sweet, grapefruit/pine. Dry finish. Medium body, light acidity, some resin.

Smapled from a growler: Transparent copper orange pour has a thin froth of wispy white head. Aroma of orangy citrus hops and a touch of sweet caramel malt. Body starts slightly caramely malty sweet with a black peppery hoppy character and some citrusy flavor hops. Not sure if I like the black peppery hoppy flavor, but otherwise a pretty decent IPA.

Sampled from a growler. I liked this one. Very fruity and floral nose, with notes of grapefruit, a general fruit cocktail aroma which is kind of like pears, pineapple and marachino cherries. It’s also slightly grassy in the nose, almost like Amarillo hops, but it’s also a little bit dank and I don’t usually get that from Amarillo. Semi-dry taste, starchy as well, with some nicely bitter grassy hop flavors, crisp and snappy hops, with some sweet and resinous apple flavors in the finish. Well-made.

Growler from the brewery. Darkish gold, decent white head. Smells citrusy and grassy, with some sweetness. Clean crisp palate. Mostly hop forward, with some grainy sweetness in the finish.

Growler, courtesy of Schutzenliesel. Thanks, Tom! Pours a hazy, orange-amber color; white head with good lacing. Earthy and resiny citrus notes in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: bitter, resiny citrus; chewy hop character, with a slight candy sugar malt presence; well-balanced and very drinkable. Lengthy, bitter citrus and earthy finish.
