Maybe I was all caught up in the moment of being in Asheville, but I really enjoyed this on draft at the Bier Garden.

bomber pours a hazy honey amber body with a tall ivory head. Foamy, large bubbled lacing. Aroma is grassy and leafy hops. Hints of grapefruit and toasted caramel. Medium body supports ample carbonation. Taste is on the dry and hoopy bitter side. Grassy, leafy, and earthy notes abound. Grainy, biscuity malt base has subtle caramel notes to balance. Sessionable!

Golden pour with small white head. Floral hops and some pine in the aroma. Flavor of citrus and orange with some more hops. For a pale ale not too bitter which was nice surprise.

Growler from Brusin Ales, way via DoBoy (Thanks Ed). Poured a hazy medium golden, aroma of floral hops with a hint of pine and sweet malts. Flavour was citrus and orange tones, with slight pine hop character that really balances out this beer. The bittering was well balanced with the caramel malt. Medium bodied with a creamy character in the mouth feel. Simply, wonderful, well made beer. Quaffable too.

Bottle at CPLYFO 09. Fogdog. Pours a slightly chill hazed medium copper with a thin lasting head. Aroma is citrusy orange infused hops, with light pine needle and a crackery doughy malt backbone and some toffee sweetness. Flavor is ok light caramel malts, ok fruitiness, and some grassy green hops with citrus and pine notes- good clean finish and nice lingering bitterness.

On draft at the brewery. Pours a semi-clear chill hazed amber with fair tan head. Lightly grainy aroma with floral and citrus hop profile. Nicely bitter and hop flavor, but not overpowering. Spot on APA.
