Bottle… C&P’sLYFO Throwdown… Hazy amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. The aroma is too subtle for my lame olfactory system – I really can’t smell a thing – completely neutral. Light to medium-bodied and very fizzy. Well-balanced… much like a PNW IPA. Not a whole lot of flavor… much unlike a PNW IPA. Bittersweet, astringent, dry finish. Bottle provided by fogdog! * * Video = http://homepage.mac.com/maltajo/RATEBEER/iMovieThe

Growler sampled on 6/30/07: Pours a transparent bright orange bronze with a thin-lacing wispy white head. Aroma of slightly citrusy American hops and some grainy pale malt. Body starts a little thinner and grainy with some mild grapefruity hops toward a crisp bittersweet finish. A decent APA.

Bottle at CPLYFO 09. Fogdog. Pours a slightly chill hazed medium copper with a thin lasting head. Aroma is citrusy orange infused hops, with light pine needle and a crackery doughy malt backbone and some toffee sweetness. Flavor is ok light caramel malts, ok fruitiness, and some grassy green hops with citrus and pine notes- good clean finish and nice lingering bitterness.

Asheville, NC - on tap at Wild Wings - dark orange pour, decent white head. Light spruce in the aroma. Flavor has some nice citrus notes, a hint of mint and a back end nuttiness. Good companion to the hit wings.

Draught at the World Beer Festival in Durham, NC. Pale yellow color with hoppy citrus aroma and flavor. Not much hop bitterness. Decent beer.
