Bottle, shared by meguiar. Straw yellow pour with lots of white head. Aroma is sweet light malt, yeasty, with some lemony freshness. The flavor is heavier than the aroma suggested, with sweet banana-like malt, and the yeast and citric freshness being more subdued. Pretty good.

Bottle at Paul’s Hoboken Gathering: Cloudy yellow with a big frothy white head. The aroma is Grainy with a lemon hint. The body is extremely frothy and voluminous/ highly carbonated. Flavor has a nice sharp refreshing character with a hint of lemon and a subtle banana touch in the background. Easy drinking.

Bottle. Pours golden orange with a decent 3 finger head in my glass. Aroma/flavor is orange peal, lemon zeast, gelgain yeast, candi sugar. Very good.

750ml bottle courtesy of durhambeer. Pours a hazy amber with a generous frothy white head. Smells of coriander, ginger, candi sugar, doughy. Tastes very malty and sweet with some spicy hints. Good but not dry enough for me.

Out of all the beers that I tried at Hickory Hops this weekend, this was the beer that I wished I could have sat and drank a whole pint of. It poured a hazy, straw yellow with a medium white head that left noticeable lacing. It smelled of sweet bananas and citrus. There was light carbonation and it had a really interesting floral/banana flavor. I usually gripe about beers being a little light on the palate, but with these delicate flavors, I think the light, effervescent mouthfeel matched just perfectly with the taste. I would serve this beer with a fruit salad or sushi.

Pours an orange color with a small off white head. The aroma is fruit and spice. The flavor is sweet with a slight alcohol presence. Finish has very little bitterness. Body is quite light.

Draft @ Barleys, Asheville. Pours a lighter orange-golden with small but thick head, decent lacing patterns. Nose is tart citrus fruits and musty hay hops. Unusually strong sour lemon character on the palate, plenty of golden malt sweetness and a tinge of grassy hops in the finish. Interesting take on the style, but a bit too untamed for my taste.
