Bottle thanks to Meguiar for sharing. Hazy golden color with a medium sized off white head. Grassy, herbal aroma of Saaz hops and a bit of fruity yeastiness. Fairly dry for a Tripel. Yeasty, grassy flavor with some biscuity malts in the background. Hides the alcohol very well.

Bottle from Bruisin’ Ales. Pours a clear golden color with a big frothy white head. Incredibly carbonated and fizzy texture. Aroma of spice and light citrus, orange and lemon. Flavor is citrus, a little funk, dirt and wild yeast. Finish is slightly sweet. This one is light and refreshing very tasty drink.

Finally rating this after drinking as much as possible when in Asheville. I am not a huge tripel fan, particularly not American tripels, but I consistently enjoy this beer, particularly when they serve pints of it for about $4 at Ruby’s. Nearly clear golden with gauzy white cream head. Sweet aromas of candied sugar and summer fruits (apricots, peaches), citrus, and citrus peel. Tart and almost sour on the nose. Nice slight bit of spice and yeast, but not doughy. A little thin on the palate, but otherwise I really dig this beer.

Pours a pale translucent gold. The head is one finger frothy and white. The nose was sweet, phenolic, sugary, some mothballs. The flavor was sweet, had a strange mothball flavor, phenolic. .

Thanks to Shaun and Angie for bringing this all the way from North Carolina. This corked and caged 750 mil bottle opened with a satisfying pop, and poured a cloudy deep and rich golden to orange hue and raised a huge off-white head that looked like whipped cream in the Duvel glass and simply did not want to go away. I let it sit so it could warm a little more, and if finally settled down after about 5 minutes and left big chunks of lacing. This may be one the the thickest and longest lasting heads I have ever seen. The nose was complex consisting of aromas of ripe fruit,, citrus, and some yeast. Mouthfeel is a bit lively and carbonated which may explain the huge head. Flavor are again of fruits, and there are touches of apricot, orange, grapefruit, and coriander. Finish is slightly sweet and it is good to the last drop. A very nice tripel.
