Aroma of sweet bready Belgian biscuity malt and some sharp coriander spice. Body starts fairly full and sweet with some nice, toasty pale maltiness and bready Belgian yeasty complexity. A nice tripel. hopscotch (4463), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Aug 28, 2008 Bottle… Murky, straw-colored ale with a mid-sized, wispy, white head. Great retention. Metallic, yeasty aroma with underlying coriander and banana. Full-bodied with moderate carbonation. Sweet pale malts and white bread with a spicy, coriander note. Finishes sweet, breadsy and lightly spicy. Bottle shared by Beerlando! jcwattsrugger (3862), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Apr 2, 2007 on tap-pours a white head and hazy yellow color. Aroma is sweet-medium fruit, banana, clove, yeast. Taste is sweet-medium fruit, banana, clove, yeast-medium malt. Good effervescence.
goldtwins (3731), Nesconset, New York, USA Jan 20, 2007 Growler. Poured a hazy light golden color. Spicey phenolic clove aroma. It had a fair amount of sweetness. The flavor was sweet with notes of clove, spices and other phenols. Light to medium body.
