Aroma is hoppy, not crazy hoppy. Chinook, Nugget, very well malted. 130 IBU rated but not getting that at all. Grapefruit, some tangerine, very tasty. Dangerously drinkable.Bomber gone, 20 minutes. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Called triple pale, and that’s what it is. merlin48 (520), New Tazewell, Tennessee, USA

Lavish lacing. Aroma is floral and fruity, with orange blossom, pink grapefruit, and some floral hops. Taste is dominated by leafy, earthy, bitter hops with a pink grapefruit note and some chewy caramel malt. Very nice. CelticBrew (713), The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 5, 2009 Pours a hazy, orannge, yet amber hue, forming a great head of craggley foam. Aroma pungent with hoppish pines, resins, mango, cantalope and light malty air. Flavour is immediate of tropical fruit character, both pine hops and a rather smooth malt kick into a balanced symphony of blissful heaven. Truly a triple pale ale, most excellent organic beer. beasley269 (15), Rutherfordton, North Carolina, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 6, 2007 Moderately sweet almost nutty aroma, medium brown in color with a beige head that maintains nice lacing. I taste hints of caramel and almonds. Its very slick on the tongue. The finish is sweet yet has hints of bitterness, almost reminds me of dried fruit. Quite unique but a delicious brew none the less. Came out of a growler picked up straight from the brewery. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Who cares. This is a damn good beer. Rating number 1000 scores big. And my wife just took some! wavers1 (175), novato, California, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 11, 2009 Bomber. Pours a deep orange-amber with a tall stand of ecrue head. The aroma is quite lovely, full of tangerine, orange, apricot, peach, wildflowers, honey, a little bit of pine, slight bubblegum, only a distant trace of alcohol, some herbal tea, and just a tiny bit of ginger and oriental spices. The flavor isn’t quite as fruity as the nose, but is more focused on the piney hops (what I usually get from Chinook). Some herbal and floral nuances keep it from being too one dimensional. As it moves through my mouth it takes on a strong toasted wood quality. This leads to a semi-dry, quite bitter finish with lots of pine, some tannicity, some lemon, a little bit of cashew, and some apricot. Warm alcohol follows, and into the aftertaste all that citrus fruit I got in the aroma reappears. Very good beer... I paired it with some pulled pork bbq I made and it worked out quite well. Yum.
