Thanks tpd975 (I think it was you) for the share. Pours dark cola brown with almost no head. Nose is roast, overripe dark fruit, with the token chocolate and coffee. Flavor was roast, dark chocolate, and some coffee. It was good, it just wasn’t world-rockingly earth-shattering. Thin mouthfeel for an imperial stout, but Interesting nonetheless.

Bottle. Poured black wth a reddish hue and a light tan head and wispy lacing. Nose is pretty roasted with chocolate, toffee, and phenol notes. Body is medium; smooth, buttery, diacetyl mouthfeel with a decent amount of carbonation. Flavor is roasted malts, caramel, bitter chocolate with a hint of smoke. Finish is somewhat sweet with notes of roasted coffee.

Source: 22 oz bottle at a tasting.
Glass: Snifter.
Appearance: Dark brown pour with a one finger brown head.
Aroma: Coffee, roasted malt and chocolate, with a hint of dark fruit.
Flavor: Very fruity. Background of coffee and roasted malt.
Palate: Full bodied with soft carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel.
Overall: Solid imperial stout. The fruity flavor was unexpected, but not bad.
